- Natalie VI rented from Westside Village for only a short period of time from January - August 2018. I've rented from property owners in town all through college, so I was expecting to have a poor experience with Westside Village as well. To my surprise, it was the opposite! Staff was always kind and honest when I approached them with a question. Of course all my issues would happen during weekends and non business hours, but maintenance would always come in a timely manner. I could tell the staff was doing the best they could. Lastly, I would like to note the security deposit. I subletted the apartment from a friend so when the time came to move out we cleaned the apartment together to the best of our ability. The move-out checklist was excessive, but helpful during the cleaning process. Of course we were unhappy about the carpet cleaning fee, but it was cheaper than we expected. Anyway, my friend received the ENTIRE security deposit back. EVERY. LAST. DIME. We were stoked!
- Lauren VLived in the same studio apartment and rented parking with Westside Village for three years (moved out in August 2016). In my time there, maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner, the in-office staff was always kind, cable and internet were included with my rent, the apartments are in a great location (close to campus, but still quiet and very close to grocery stores) and the well-maintained, credit card- operated laundry room (also has video surveillance) was a great bonus. Upon move-out I followed the move-out guide (provided from the staff), and got my entire security deposit back. I would certainly recommend Westside Village to students looking for an apartment in the State College area. Thanks for making my experience great!
- Lydia SThey take good care of you as long as you don't trash your apartment! Very affordable prices and much better than living in a downtown tower.
